Mauritius Esslingen in Esslingen am Neckar

We are in Mauritius more often, but I have to say that the staff is quite overwhelmed and sometimes "doesn't feel like" working. We waited 15 minutes until we even got a card and there wasn't much going on at the Mauri, but the three girls preferred to talk to each other. The food is always very tasty 😋 hence the stars. We often have the chicken bowl but always without the chicken because it is out. But it doesn't matter, the turkey does too!

Wait 1 hour and the food doesn't taste good Never again...

I can confirm the ratings with the good service after our visit to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was lacking. All the salads were fresh at first glance, but this assumption was not confirmed on all four plates. The further down you ate, the more brown the lettuce leaves became. Due to the sauce and the dimmed light in the evening, this was hardly noticeable at first, but on closer inspection it was clear. The service accepted and accepted the criticism (was shocked itself) and "made good" for it all with a small dessert. I hope that this was an exception and that usually clearly brown lettuce leaves go straight to the trash.

I have been a regular customer at the Mauri Esslingen for over a year now, whenever I go out with friends - the first choice is always the Mauri - super delicious, totally cozy, friendly service (all evening long!), Delicious food and a really huge selection Cocktails, at a mega price! Price-performance ratio is always right. Toilets very clean, smoking area doesn't "stink", and always a nice change from the stressful everyday life. Love it there, recommend it to everyone !! ❤️❤️❤️

I love it a great place

There were three of us in one afternoon for a drink and a snack. Were served very quickly and everything came correctly as ordered. Our waitress Vero has her job under control. Very good !

Cool, friendly service, very nice staff. Food came really quickly and tasted excellent. Prices are a bit overpriced for drinks, but food was delicious. Toilets are clean. Parking possibilities available for a fee (multi-storey car park). Large outside area. COVID requirements were also observed 👌

The food is excellent as always. The service is friendly, courteous and nice. However, the enormously high drink prices cost the restaurant the 5th star.

Actually wanted to celebrate a birthday there, but according to the reviews, no alcohol is served at a table, even if only one minor is present. So we called and actually - we should have been sitting at separate tables. In other Mauritius branches, people don't care! The prices for the cocktails are good and they are also quite good. And since the ambience is really nice, you'd actually like to go there more often - if it weren't for the extremely high prices for the food. The selection is good and it tastes great too, but over 5 euros for a portion of sweet potato fries, 9 euros for a sandwich? I know this is a franchise, but it's extremely violent. The service is also quite changeable. Sometimes very nice and attentive, sometimes totally rushed and unfriendly. Waiting times are very long and tables are never cleared.

The restaurant is nicely designed, in surfer style. The service was also very nice. Unfortunately, the cocktails didn't taste very good, we ordered 4 different ones, with and without alcohol, but unfortunately they all tasted the same. It gave the impression that the cocktails are not made by yourself ... It would be better to ask for a little more than 4.99 euros and to prepare the cocktails fresh would be better.

Class shop, prompt conditions that are friendly and easy. Eat and drink at a good level. Prices are pleasant. The choice is given by Mauritius and are meticulously met, could also be looser in some things. The benches are hard, here I would like to pad! The rest looks appealingly modern and is clean.

Great choice of cocktails for very fair prices. Staff is very nice and ready to fulfill your orders as fast as possible. Food tastes very delicious and I'd say at a reasonable price. Great location. Easy to reach from Esslingen Train station. Parking can be though, but other than that it is a very nice place to spend your time with some drinks and food.

Great ambience, great place! A little on the expensive side. Good selection of cocktails and fresh fruit drinks. Hot and tasteful food. A lot of place to sit. But reservations are recommended if you are going on weekend evenings! Friendly staff. Kid's menu available for children as well.
